Enhance Immune Activation with MEGACD40L?
B cell lymphocyte activation by various CD40L constructs. PBMCs were treated for 48 hrs in media containing serially diluted MEGACD40L, CD40L + 2ug/mL Enhancer, or CD40L. Cytokines are secreted signaling molecules that mediate and regulate immunity, inflammation and many developmental processes during embryogenesis. Cytokines can have pleiotropic, overlapping, and sometimes contradictory functions, and also play an important role in angiogenesis and cancer. Eicosanoids are a group of biologically active oxygenated unsaturated fatty acids derived from arachidonic acid by the action of cyclooxygenases, lipoxygenases, and cytochrome P450 mono-oxygenases. The eicosanoid family includes prostaglandins, thromboxanes, leukotrienes, hydroxyeicosatetraenoic acids (HETEs), and lipoxins.
